What is a man benefited if he gains the whole world, yet loses or forfeits himself?
If we try to only find happiness in worldly things, we will fail. Think a little deeper... who allowed those happy times? Who puts us through the bad times? I was once told that we are either just coming out of a "fire" or fixing to go into a "fire." But God doesn't put us through all that to punish us. He wants to make us stronger by learning to depend on him through the ups and downs. If we do indeed gain the whole world and lose not only ourselves but God,as well, can we even have true happiness? So when your lost or caught up in the world always remember that God's got your back no matter what! He takes the good, bad and the ugly and can turn it into something beautiful.-Luke 9:25
