It's kind of a harsh quote but at the same time true. Life happens. It's usually in the good times that we are more than willing to praise God but during the bad times, God is the last thing on our mind when he should be the first. I too am guilty of not "praising him in the storm" as the Casting Crowns song says. Through joy and pain we should strive to look to Jesus Christ to rejoice or help us through.
